About The Event
Our first workshop, titled “STATES BETWEEN,” will take place in Freiburg im Breisgau from 9–11 May 2025
Amrei brings a rich background in improvisation and contemporary dance and is as well experienced in the attunement practice.
In our collaboration Amrei and me are currently very interested in the STATES BETWEEN
dancing „without“ a partner and dancing with a partner. During the workshop we will be exploring the different nuances of these two states. Can they merge so seamlessly that they might become present at the same time and enrich our individual/common dance?
Compared to other Attunement Workshops, this one will focus more often on moving and improvising “without” a partner. While still relating to others we play and engage with the themes of 'closeness and distance' in space.
